Our mission is to promote community awareness and healthy living to prevent and manage diabetes through innovative community programs.

Atlanta born, Gerald is a pharmacist who owned and operated Red Oak Pharmacy for 8 years, and has worked at chain pharmacies around Atlanta for 31 years. He began teaching classes in adherence and compliance of diabetes medication with a team at the West End Medical Center in Atlanta, GA. He became very interested in the challenges of diabetes management for patients and pursued the goal of becoming a certified diabetes educator. He is personally interested in diabetes because his oldest daughter has Type I diabetes and his wife has Type 2 diabetes. He has taught Diabetes Self-Management classes to many seniors in the rural counties of Georgia. He loves helping people meet their goals and loves helping people.
